Rising Resilience

This 10-week coaching program will guide you to understanding that you are in control of your mental health, both, to better and to worst. At times it may feel like an illusive task to strengthen our mental health and often we leave it to chance, but it is possible to become less stressed, anxious, prevent a relapse of a mood disorder or simply not fall into the believe that because a mood disorder runs in the family, you may suffer from it too.

No one who has a family member suffer from a mood disorder, wants to think that they have a higher risk at experiencing something similar. It is equally true for the people who once had a major depression and are warned that if they don’t take care of themselves, there is a 75% risk of a relapse. But what does it mean to take care of yourself in relation to mental health? I asked a psychiatrist this question once and the answer was unspecific and hopeless, but it pushed me to find the answer. Taking care of yourself is not the same as taking baths or purchasing an item you want, and although these aren’t excluded from a self-care routine, it is predominantly talking kindly to yourself, accepting the present moment for what is, practicing non-resistance, increasing awareness around divers feeling you experience and a adopt a lifestyle that aligns with you instead of resisting you. As a result, this will help you have beautiful relationships, experience more positive feeling including a heightened sense of gratitude, worry less about future, let go of the past, sleep better, make better food choices and accept yourself for who you are.
